Historical heritage and achievements of OMSP MACOLA

The OMSP Macola company was founded in Padova (Italy) the early 1970's by Giuseppe and Ferruccio Macola. OMSP Macola began by manufacturing pumps and measuring instruments for tank trucks designed to transport flammable and petroleum substances.

In 1978 OMSP Macola began to produce LPG trucks for road transportation. From 1982 OMSP Macola started also to build self-supporting tank semitrailers for LPG transport.

Nearby the original headquarters in Padova OMSP Macola has new production site with total area of 30 000 m2 for the future development of its activities.

In 2005 OMSP Macola opened a subsidiary in Romania for the maintenance and servicing of large fleet of gas tankers, sold in countries of CEFTA (Central European Free Trade Association between the countries of Southeast Europe which are not members of the European Union).

The team's work OMSP Macola is formed by very experienced people on tank transport that share the goal of Customer satisfaction.  The OMSP Macola company become a leader in EU level in the gas road tanker industry, with a production of approximately 150 gas road tankers per year, for LPG, CО2, LOX and LIN transportation. This production is exported throughout Europe and in parts of Africa and the Middle East.

OMSP MACOLA offers transport solutions, adapted for local regulations, specific needs and requirements of the customer:
  • 2-, 3- or 4-axles tank trucks with fixed or demountable tankers;
